Amidst a day full of runny noses, and dirty diapers (I work part-time at a daycare), there was a beautiful walk to a small community garden, as the sun finally gave warmth and brilliant light, after some nippy, blustery winds! The crying ceased as each little soul explored the world around them, thankful too to be out in this day.
Earthy smells of green onions ready for harvest, and gigantic radishes that dwarf the common radishes, bought in bunches at the supermarket,are bonuses to this day and inspire thoughts of recipes yet to cook! So many spices to learn... Tastebuds to tempt...
All in all, this was one of those exceptional days!
